The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
I'm thinking of you and holding good thoughts for you. I pray this time of misery may soon be over.
ReplyDeleteonly slightly confused; yesterday around the time that I would usually be writing and scheduling, was Angel's dinner time, and I just broke down and cried for an hour. I'm feeling better today, not crying at least, because a neighbour thinks she saw Angel, so I'm hopeful he will come home soon.
DeleteChecking here regularly with hope in my heart.
DeleteJust take care of yourself, we are all thinking of you, praying for your comfort and for results to resolve your troubles.
ReplyDeleteJimmy; thank you. I have Angel's favourite sleeping blanket on the porch now, hoping a familiar scent might draw him home.
DeleteIts okay, we know you have problems. Sending zingers to the tenant upstairs.
ReplyDeleteS.J.Qualls; I'm sending zingers of my own, believe me. Mental zingers.
DeleteWe love you; hoping Angel comes back!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; thank you. I'm hopeful still, the vet did say frightened animals hide out for as long as they need to, sometimes more than a week.
DeleteHugs.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; thank you, please hug Jazz for me, as much as he will allow anyway.
Delete((((Hugs from me too )))) both for you and Angel. Crying helps as well
ReplyDeleteCathy; thank you. I spent most of yesterday crying, particularly at Angel's mealtimes.
DeleteDear River, just take care of yourself, we are all thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way.
