Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us more often. **Elephant's Child is taking a break for the month of February** Continuing our road trip, today sees us in Snowtown, a small place 100km north of Adelaide. Very cute! :-)
ReplyDeleteSharon; I thought so too :)
DeleteSo cute, Calvin and Hobbes are favorites of mine.
ReplyDeleteTerra; I think they're favourites with everyone.
DeleteI have often wondered what happens to the bread...
ReplyDeleteJimmy; I never gave it a single thought, I'm not that curious it seems.
DeleteI love C & H!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; me too!
DeleteI too am a big fan. A big, big fan.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; me too. I'd like to find Calvin and Hobbes wallpaper or fabric someday.
DeleteAlways did like Calvin and Hobbs.
ReplyDeleteonly slightly confused; they're the best :)
DeleteKind of miss not seeing those two. I don't get a newspaper anymore. Thanks for the giggle.
ReplyDeleteArkansas Patti; perhaps you can search online for a daily cartoon dose of C&H
DeleteI've not heard of them. I am now educated.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; HOW have you not heard of Calvin and Hobbes?? I've had them on here before today.
DeleteI'm laughing ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Lowcarb team member; that's good to hear :)
DeleteLove those two. Toast. What a concept.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; they're two of the cutest cartoon people I ever 'met'
DeleteI wish someone knew the answer! The not knowing is killing me!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLee; I'm sure you'll figure it out one day, you're smart:)
DeleteCalvin and Hobbs is always good.
ReplyDeletejoeh; I look forward to them every time I get a paper, and read the other cartoons first, to save the best for last.
DeleteHeh, heh! One of the mysteries of life.
ReplyDeleteI had a student who wanted to know where pickles came from. When the class told her they came from cucumbers, she swore she would never eat another pickle.
Val; life is full of mysteries like this.
DeleteSad to never eat another pickle, they're so good for you. Your liver needs the sour to counteract all the sweet.
The innocence of a cartoon - clever.
ReplyDeleteMargaret-whiteangel; I love cartoons :)
DeleteLove Calvin & Hobbes. Our son is a big fan as well - bought all the books over time, and was so disappointed when the author stopped drawing them.
ReplyDeletejenny_o; I wanted to buy all the books, but when I searched for them online and in bookstores, I was shocked at the price. WAAAAY above my budget :(
DeleteI know; our son saved his allowance over long periods of time, and asked for them as gifts at Christmas and birthdays in order to get his.
DeleteFunniest cartoons ever. Love this little guy and his tiger.
