Sunday Selections # 524

Long, long ago, in days of yore...Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

And we don't mind at all if overseas bloggers care to join us.

The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I occasionally join in as do a few others. Drop in to Elephant's Child and have a look.

Today, a couple of garden photos, then Meg's new sister 😀

my Crassula "Ladies Fingers" is much happier in this bigger pot and certainly looks better

my chickens are finally back in the garden. I walked around carefully, noting where I put my feet and dragged the hose when watering, to find a spot where they wouldn't be disturbed.

Gillian, you're here! You're finally home!

let's get you some clothes

you look lovely, are you comfortable? I'll show you around, you're going to love it here.

this is the big bed where Mum sleeps, we are allowed to sit on it or take a nap any time we like

this is the kitchen, sometimes mum lets me help with the cooking and now you can too.

over there is the DVD collection, we watch something every night after we eat dinner and the dishes are washed up and put away

Harvey Banana and Cousin Hugo are our best friends and they're warm and cuddly too

this is Yoda, he loves to talk and loves really long discussions, sometimes we talk all night, even when it is dark, you can walk the duckies any time you want too.

this is our very own special chair, but the umbrella part is broken, it won't stay up when Mum opens it, the plastic bit right at the top of the canopy is broken, so we have to get a new one.

Freddie Mercury likes to give us rides, but you have to hold on tight when he skids around corners

you can share my shawl for sleeping until mum gets our sleeping bags made.

  1. Is Gillian Meg's long lost twin? Happy she has finally arrived. Glad you got her some new clothes. Gillian will learn a lot of helpful things from Meg.

    1. Granny Annie; not a twin, a sister, she is sharing Meg's clothes for now, but I plan on making more things for both of them.

    1. Linda Sue; I was so excited when she finally arrived, Meg has enjoyed showing her around. They can't wait to get outside, but yesterday it rained most of the day so things are a bit muddy out there.

now she can share it with her sister Gillian!

    1. Elephant's Child; Gillian fitted in right away, it's like she was always here and it's only been three days. I'm glad the chickens are back in the garden, they spent far too long in the shed.

    1. Andrew; it's a great little plant, but I've seen them grow quite large, so I'm searching around for just the right permanent pot. Meg and Gillian were friends from the first moment, I knew they would be :)
