Words for Wednesday
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems.
The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind.
If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words.
This month the words/prompts are supplied by jabblog and can be found here
This week's words/prompts are:
1.inane 2.trees 3.wind 4.effervescent 5.landmark 6.method
and/or:
1.zero 2.simple 3.clockwork 4.brain 5.study 6.size
use either list or both, or mix and match, just have fun.
my story will appear on this blog on Friday 8th
I hope to find the time to take part.
ReplyDeleteDora; that would be nice.
DeleteI prefer the second batch of words, R. Will think and if anything comes to mind I will do.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; I'm having a bit of a brain melt trying to think of something myself.
Delete"My brain has zero thoughts on how to proceed if the study was of no use, the size of work not enough, if I don´t get my job back.
ReplyDeleteLike a clockwork it runs, simple and insane. Like the wind in the trees in front of my window..."
Looking forward to Friday and yours!
Iris; you did a great job with these words. I am still trying to think of even one sentence.
DeleteNicely done and very succinct!
DeleteThank you both. Sitting here waiting for job-news the words flew to me... Many invested so much. Job-agency, team-leaders... and myself.
DeleteIris: Espero que hores d'ara, tinguis treball.
DeleteGood luck with your job.
DeleteFiz uma mistura de palavras e aqui a minha participação:

beijos, lindo dia! chica
chica; I read your story, it's very good, and I hope that one day soon Salete will realise other people are just as important as she is.
DeleteThanks for the list, my post is here:

I tried to make it an actual link but Blogger says you no longer allow it on your blog comments.
messymimi; I love your story and would also choose option two. Blogger says "I" no longer allow it?? no no no, that's blogger, not me. Anyway I can highlight that "link" and go straight to your page, so all is good.
DeleteMimi: Llegit i comentat. M'ha encantat.
DeleteLet me accompany you, Mimi. Someone needs to tell those overpaid eggsswingers off!
DeleteAfterwards, I'll treat you to the trattoria. ;-)
Foi um prazer participar:

Verena; very good use of the words, I am glad the boys made it home safely.
DeleteFine piece of writing. Enjoyed it.
DeleteDescartes obviously knew that a man and a donkey do know more than a man. ;-)
All great words. I'm looking forward to your story.
ReplyDeleteDVArtist; thank you. I am also looking forward to my story, as soon as my brain thinks of something.
DeleteSadly, no entry from me this week. Always, I like checking out the prompts just to see the words, try them out and see if something comes up. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
lissa; it's okay to not write every week, just write when the words come easily.
DeleteTo cut it short:
ReplyDeleteIt's zero simple to study the size of a tree-brain by the so-called "effervescent-landmark-method" (ELM). Like winding up Clockwork Gold. One has to be in(s)ane.
The peace of the night.
Sean Jeating; nicely done. thank you.
DeleteCurt i molt enginyós, marca de la casa. ;-)
DeleteAferradetes, Sean.
Repeteixo, AQUÍ et deixo el meu.
ReplyDeleteGràcies!
