Mike; yes they did, but the "action" onwe wasn't the one I saw at youtube and wanted, with lots more surfers. This one focused on the one woman and her boobs.
hels; my children definitely know their music, though they don't play it for themselves and I suspect none of the grandchildren know it. I may play some of these for the twins when they get a bit older, so they know the music I liked.
Iris; it's from the early 1960s, and we are headed into winter, 20C today which is quite warm in your area at 68F but I'm shivering and have just turned on the heating. Time to get out the winter pyjamas.
I shall keep this short and sweet. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! I am truly surprised to have received this: Laughing Horse Award from Yorkshire Pudding , also known as YP, for being the Australian Blogger of the Year. Click the link to read the nice things he said.
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
They played!

ReplyDeletejabblog; I associate them with anything beachy and surfy as well as sailing.
DeleteBeach Boys were wonderful back in the day. But I wonder if our children and grand children even know their music.
