help, I'm being smothered

I have a giant lump of purring fur squished between my keyboard and my ribs.
Loose fur is flying in all directions, the keys are almost covered.
Any suggestions that Angel move to the couch, the bed, the mat by the front door, are met with louder purring and lazy eye blinks.
(*~*)

He's just rolled over so I can scratch his underarms. He loves that!

underarm area, if I scratch there he will lift his arms (paws? legs?) straight up in the air so I can scratch properly.

  1. All to familiar.
Jazz is purring up a storm, and has taken over the sofa. Himself has less than a third of one seat left to call his own. And if he moves far enough away that he can't reach Jazz to stroke him, the complaints are loud.

You are so lucky to have him... and he, you :)

  3. How wonderful! He obviously adores you and you him. Thank you for visiting my soup post with those great tips. I never thought of using a potato peeler for the Parmesan garnish. You would get more of a taste sensation. Will definitely try both this and the mixed beans next time :)

  4. Elephant's Child; Angel doesn't like the couch since I took the blankets off for the summer. He gets under it instead or under the bed. When he's not all over the keyboard that is.

Vicki; we have a love/hate relationship. I love him to bits, but not in the two hours before dawn, when I want to be asleep and he thinks I should be up.

DeniseinVA; welcome to drifting. You're welcome. I also add zucchini, but shredded not diced, and only in the last few minutes of cooking.

  10. I'd love to have a cat, but there's no way it'd work - it couldn't come with us when we travel; and it would eat the native wildlife when we're at home!! SO ... I'll just enjoy YOUR cat instead!
