Charlotte will be providing a colour for each month as she did last year, we try to use the colour somewhere in our posts, either photographing something with that colour or using it in another way. joeh; I actually did that when I was working, especially in the shoe factory. Find the priorities, get those done first, make sure everything you need for the day is ready and close to hand. My section was never behind, always ahead, on the daily quota.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; committees are such a bad idea most of the time. Whenever something doesn't work out they form yet another committee to look into the problem. how many committees does it take to change a light bulb?
Lee; oh there's an antidote! Sack all the committees.

Merle; no, rat shit weighs too much, committees simply aren't worth that much. We could use dryer lint.

ReplyDeleteThat's one of the best I've seen but thinking back I remember mum forming and being on committees over the years in her social welfare work and some of them did come up with some great ideas that helped countless people so maybe they can be a plus if handled properly.

Mimsie; you're right, your mum did good work with her committees, but that was decades ago. nowadays most committees are a waste of time. Like consultants, who get paid astronomical amounts to look at something then come up with an idea about it.
I know what you mean about consultants. People retire and become consultants and earn big dollars for doing really very little.

Vest; I had two best feet back then. I loved that job. If the factory hadn't closed I would still be there.
