The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Opportunist bastards.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning.
Elephant's Child; they'll stop at nothing to get what is rightfully yours, or anyone else's
DeleteI am old. My phone has no internet access!
ReplyDeleteNot kidding. Because of all this scam and useless updates (bill went up from 30 cents to over 20 Euro!!!) I bought a phone you cannot hack that way.
I have a smart phone with just access to WhatsApp. And olny if there is WiFi. So yes, they might "get" me, so thanks for the warning!
Sick people everywhere, why do they... argh!
Iris Flavia; I can access the internet on my phone if I want to, but I choose not to especially with things as important as banking. sick people are everywhere, it's true.
DeleteThanks for the warning.
ReplyDeleteVal; you're welcome.
DeleteThanks for the warning. With so many people out of work, they will be thinking of way to make money that won't be honest.
ReplyDeleteArkansas Patti; I think these are probably the usual Bas***ds who try anything to get their hands on your money, not necessarily people newly out of work.
DeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteI never open anything texted or emailed to me, even if from friend or family as you never know for sure who is on the other end. If it looks important I Google it.
joeh; very wise of you.
DeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; you're welcome. Pass on the message to others.
DeleteThanks for heads up
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know. I'm to the point now that I don't open or answer anything unless I recognize the name, number or email.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yep, we've been leery of following any link for any reason, even from our kids. Every time they send one, i ask them about it first.
