on TV news right now
Thursday, 11.25am, day one of lockdown, NO new cases today. So far.
Fingers crossed.
The entire state is in strict lockdown, not just Adelaide.
Yesterday more than 12,000 people were voluntarily tested and testing is still going on.
Thanks for the update. When we were first locked down, you had to isolate at home and await your test results that could take up to 3 days. By the end of lockdown it was less than 24 hours and in some cases, 3 hours. So I hope people don't have to wait too long there, although they can't really go anywhere anyway.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; test results are faster now, so that's a bonus, knowing almost immediately if you have the virus or just a reaction to something in the air, like Jacaranda blooms. I don't think too may people mind staying at home, I know I don't. Many would probably go to the beach and get sunburned instead, so they're better off at home.
DeleteFingers and toes tightly crossed. Excellent news which I hope continues.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; I very much hope it continues.
DeleteWell that is good news, no new cases and all those people being tested.
ReplyDeleteHopefully there won't be anymore cases and if so just one or two...fingers crossed.
Take care R.
Margaret D; just listened to the evening news, still no new cases. A few people have been spotted sneaking a swim at deserted beaches and were given a warning.
DeleteAwesome news!
ReplyDeleteNew Release Books; I agree.
DeleteWow! Sounds wonderful. Wish our little town would lock-down.
ReplyDeleteNo new cases speaks volumes. Wish our politicians had the courage to do the same thing.
ReplyDeleteIf a short, total lockdown works, it's certainly much better than dragging it out with fewer restrictions.
ReplyDeleteTo us your country has code orange since Tuesday. Hope it helps, here most people keep acting as if all was fine.
