Sunday Selections #519

Long, long ago, in days of yore...Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I occasionally join in as do a few others. Drop in to Elephant's Child and have a look.

today we see Meg again, she's been busy...

I've done the shopping, won't mum be surprised 😀

I'll get everything put away

Uh-Oh, better hide this

I'll surprise Mum with it later

Eggs in the fridge

Peas in the freezer.

Time to watch a little television, but I won't eat the whole lollipop, I'll just have a taste. Don't want to spoil my appetite for dinner.

  1. Meg, you are such a good helper. I am betting you couldn't stop with just one taste of that lollipop.

  4. G'Day, River...I wish I had a little helper (or a big helper) to lug my groceries inside and put them away. I keep eyeing off IGA's shopping trolleys, and wish one would fit in my car. It would be very handy here at home, that is for sure!

I'll be doing a bit of bingeing later...not on lollipops (maybe some liquorice or a Cherry Ripe)....a couple of series I'm wallowing in await me!

Have yourself a wonderful week ahead, River...take good care...cuddles to the lovely Lady Lola. :)

    1. Lee; a little helper is a wonderful thing. Can you find a small trolley that will fit in your car? Something that folds with a removeable basket that can go in your boot when filled, then wheel it inside when you get home. Like a laundry trolley and basket, something we all had in the days of hanging washing.

  5. Always love visiting with Meg. She really got a cart full and like a good girl, put it all away. Amazed at how many Meg sized items you come up with.

    1. Arkansas Patti; the items were part of a supermarket giveaway last year and the year before, a free one each week with a certain $ amount of shopping. I didn't collect them myself, I bought the trolley on ebay and the groceries were included.

  10. Vegemite, LOL. You really eat that?! I tried several times, reckon you grow up with it or it´s "yikes" (I know it´s healthy, but I just can´t!).

    Cute series, well done, Meg!!

    1. Iris Flavia; I do eat vegemite, but spread it thinly. My mum hated it and only bought it after my brother and I had some at a friend's house and liked it. Before that we only had peanut paste (peanut butter) or jam or cream cheese spread. And the liverwurst, which I hated.
      Meg loved her shopping trip.

    2. Hmmmm liverwurst. have you tried tea-wurst? Even better (no tea involved, I reckon, Teewurst).
We tried vegemite thinly. On toasted/untoastd toast, with butter, marge and all, colleagues didn´t want to try even, LOL.Poor teamleader and I were alone!!!

Funny how we love the stuff we grow up with. Tastebuds. Clever or dumb?

    1. WWW; Maybe Meg learned from me to be organised, or maybe she was always like that. The cart is cute for sure.

    1. Fresca; I think she is happy too. Right now she is discussing Winnie-the-Pooh with Yoda. Last night we watched CSI together, one of our favourite TV shows.
