Wednesday's Words on a Friday
On Wednesdays , Delores, from Under The Porch Light , has a word challenge meme which she calls “Words for Wednesday”. She puts up a selection of six words which we then use in a short story, or a poem. I’m hopeless at poetry so I always do a story. It’s a fun challenge…why not join in? Luger 6. geriatric or: " more moves than a mime" Here is my story: Speeding through my geriatric years, becoming more misanthropic day by day, I sometimes think back to my youth and childhood, when summers seemed to last forever, and there was a lifetime between one Christmas and the next. Those days seem so transient now. Some of my memories seem improbable ; had I really done, felt, thought those long ago things? it was all so far away, lost in the mists of history.
