  3. Hi River,

    Merry Christmas to you.

I am jealous of the weather. At the moment we are experiencing "storm Barbara" which is bringing 40 to 60 mph gusts with rain and on Christmas Day we get to meet "storm Connor".

    Yowza!

    :o)

    Cheers

    1. Plasman; storm Barbara AND storm Connor? That's a very stormy Christmas. Usually the storms are on the inside, around the table, after several someones have had one too many.
      Merry Christmas

    1. Granny Annie; the Aussie Christmas barbecue is almost a tradition in some families. The we get some years when there is a total fire ban and that throws a spanner in the works, but Christmas is always a great day regardless.
      Merry Christmas to you too.

  12. I don't want the year to end with you and Elephant's child mad at me over a misunderstanding. My foreigner post was directed to a Canadian fellow from Alberta and another one living in the Ukraine. It had nothing to do with you or elephant's child. You do have a tendency to think everything is directed at you. Please let's start out the new years with no hard feelings.

  13. mohaverat; I'm not sure how to answer this without hurting any feelings. I do realise you don't direct things at me personally, but you do include entire countries because you think they can't possibly understand what is going on in America when they don't live there. Anyway, I hope you and Mrs Rat, Grayson too, had a happy Christmas and that 2017 will be kind to you.
