P.S. I never see history as His Story, to me history is accounts of times gone by as written by those who remember or were there etc, or as discovered by archaeologists and other scientific study. His Story, to me, is the bible. Which I have never read.
I shall keep this short and sweet. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! I am truly surprised to have received this: Laughing Horse Award from Yorkshire Pudding , also known as YP, for being the Australian Blogger of the Year. Click the link to read the nice things he said.
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.

DeleteP.S. I never see history as His Story, to me history is accounts of times gone by as written by those who remember or were there etc, or as discovered by archaeologists and other scientific study.
DeleteHis Story, to me, is the bible. Which I have never read.
So history can be rewritten. I never knew.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; always happy to educate where I can :)
DeleteIt would be wonderful if only the good parts of history were re-written, but unfortunately, that is never so.
ReplyDeleteLee; if only the good parts are rewritten, we won't be able to learn from the bad parts.
DeleteWe don't learn from the bad parts...proof is around us every day, unfortunately.
DeleteHistory definitely re-written by you.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
