Musical Monday # 162

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.

I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is: Kenny Loggins

Danger Zone from the movie Top Gun

    1. fishducky; that's a shame, can you find it on you tube? I get similar "blocked" messages for videos on American blogs.

  4. It is very much a song of its period. I imagine it was popular at the time.

    1. Andrew; it was very popular, probably because of the movie Top Gun with Tom Cruise.

  5. Kenny Loggins was such a force back in the late 70s into the 80s....one of the "sounds of the times".

  7. That was a classic. Unfortunately, I grew tired of it around the 300th time I heard it through the wall of my townhouse. The lady on the other side had her son visiting, and he was on leave from some military branch, perhaps a Navy SEAL. He played it A LOT.

    1. Val; it does get tiring when you hear it all day long. I remember when Abba was new and all we heard all day was Mamma Mia. Even my four year old told me she was sick of Abba after a few months.
