Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. ReplyDeleteI don't go out looking to have a "tribe" of friends. I don't want to have a tribe. I know a lot of people, but my good friends, the ones I truly trust, I can count on one hand. And I like it that way.
My best friends are those I've had since my school days and one, in particular, from when I was three years of age going on four. We're still the best of friends to this day....many, many years on. I would trust her with my life.
Lee; I don't have hundreds of friends either. I have dozens of acquaintances, and a few treasured real friends, mostly family, a few neighbours here, and my internet friends.
DeleteTrue friends are rare indeed.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
