Sunday Selections 506

Long, long ago, in days of yore...Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I occasionally join in as do a few others. Drop in to Elephant's Child and have a look.

Meg is the star today:

Houston, we have a problem..

Mum will fix it.

I have a Cinderella dress!

I bet this is why she tripped and lost her glass slipper. And a good thing too, or she would never have married the Prince.

add some jewels and suddenly I'm a princess!

Let's see now, what will I wear today?

See you later Yoda, I have things to do.

Got my ducks in a row,

trekking across the desert

to the oasis where the ducks can have a swim

look where we are now! we can see the whole room from here

let's choose a movie, we should relax after all that trekking

movie and popcorn, what more do I need now that I've taken the ducks home again.

  1. You certainly make me wish I had not gotten rid of my grandchildren's toys. I could be doing so much with them in the art of story telling. Your work is terrific.

    1. Elephant's Child; life works best when your ducks are in a row. It's getting them there that is the hard part.

    1. Sarah; for Meg at least. I had a few more chores than just walking the ducks.

  4. She always looks so happy. Meg is better dressed than I am, even dressed for the ball. Love her cool, well behaved ducks.

    1. Arkansas Patti; Meg certainly has more dresses than I do, (my total is 0)
I bought the ducks from a stall holder who said she'd been putting them out for several years but never had a buyer. i saw right away they were perfect for Meg.

    1. Andrew; she does like to look tidy, unlike me, slopping around in my pj's as much as possible.

    1. Joanne; op shops are a great source of old Barbie doll clothes, some of which can be easily altered for a Meg sized doll. She's been asking for a puppy....

  9. I love that first shirt Meg was wearing, but maybe the long-sleeve shirt was better suited to her duck walk. I don't know if you can top the cuteness of that string of ducks!

    1. Val; I went with the long sleeved shirt because it was a coolish day here. I absolutely love the string of ducks, a mother and four babies.
