mum says if the summer gets too hot,

we may just take a wander down to Antarctica to cool off.

I'm ready!

Almost.

I just need one of those ear-flappy hats and a long scarf to wrap around my nose and mouth. Probably I should put my boots on too. And I'll need some mittens...

  4. Love the fleecy snow suit you made her. Supposed to be summer here in Victoria yet at times I could do with one of those myself 😊

    1. Cathy; hot days are coming, don't you worry about that. The "suit" is just bits of an old sheepskin that I trimmed off and balanced on Meg. But I will try and make a suit for her.

    1. messymimi; I doubt it, Australia is a pretty hot country. Even in winter we have many sunny days with cloudless blue skies.

  7. I was sure I commented before I went out this morning - but it has disappeared. It is summer in Antarctica now and not 'that' cold.
I would happily join you and Meg there in a heart beat.

    1. Elephant's Child; "not 'that' cold" ha ha. Still too cold for me. I joke about going or moving to snowbound caves in Alaska, but in reality, I couldn't do it. Our milder winters are cold enough for me. I do hope that you can go again one day though.
