Sunday Selections #586

Long ago, Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

And we don't mind at all if overseas bloggers care to join us.

The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I occasionally join in as do a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to them and have a look.

Shall we spend the day with the girls?

Gillian: look at this toy Mum bought for the new twins

Riley: it's got yellow shapes inside

Jordan: I'll see if I can get one out

Jordan: I can't quite get a grip

Jordan: I can fit my legs all the way in!  Gillian: but that won't help us get the shapes out

Jordan: help me out then

Jordan: mum says we have to pull both of these yellow handles at the same time

Meg: the other one is way down under, we can't pull it from there

Meg: let's play soccer Jordan: kick it here, kick it this way!

Riley: let's ask Mum to get the shapes out

Meg: I built a house!

Gillian: we made a fence

Riley: we can play bowling

Strike!

high five!

Stargazing, the twins are going to love this toy.

    1. Linda Sue; I remember the fun my own kids had with one of these. It's a learning tool too, the shapes themselves and they each have a number embossed on them and dots for blind children.

    1. Mike; probably, but they are Tupperware so a new one would be hugely expensive, I got this one from ebay quite cheaply and washed it a few times.

  5. Liked seeing them work together. Who knew all those shapes were in there? Why they did of course.

    1. Lee; the coming week is going to be exciting with the twins arriving, but I won't get to see them right away with the hospital limiting visitors and of course I will have to wear a mask.

  7. Good luck twinnies with that puzzle. It should be this week when ours arrive, somewhat early. We've bought nothing for them as yet.

    1. Andrew; it's a toy for when they are older. Our twins are also arriving this week, three weeks early, but they are healthy and a good size. I won't get to see them right away as the hospital is limiting visitors. I've bought lots of stuff, mostly nappies, wipes and bibs, a couple of lightweight blankets for the summer and I chipped in for a double pram.

    1. Val; the girls have been quiet for a while, but this new toy got them away from the TV for a bit. I won't let them meet the twins until they are older and less likely to chew on them.
