Words for Wednesday

The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems.

The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind.

If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words.

This month the words/prompts are supplied by Sean Jeating and can be found here

This week's words/prompts are:

1.innocent  2.evil  3.face  4.expanding  5.born

and/or:

1.come  2.surprise  3.planet  4.minor  5.follow

use either list or both, or mix and match, just have fun.

Include Charlotte's colour of the month if you wish or if you can: pumpkin orange.

My own story will appear on this blog on Friday 24th

  1. His face appeared so innocent but he was born evil and expanding his sinister ways every day.

  2. Innocent children have always been born who became evil bastards. Given the growing human population, it should come as no surprise that there are more evil bastards on this planet today than ever before. They would, however, be a minor problem. The problems are caused, or rather, exacerbated, by a majority who allow criminal psychopaths to run their business instead of stopping them or, as recently to observe, even enthusiastically elect a pumpkin-orange idiot as their president.

Before I met Sean Jeating I was quite innocent. Then I spotted his contorted face through my letterbox and henceforth my horizons started expanding. I was born to trust and when I come to think of it, the powerful influence he exerted over me should have come as no surprise. It was like being transported to another planet - a minor one if you follow me. There it was as if the natural colours of Nature had been turned a vile pumpkin orange colour. I wonder where Sean Jeating is now

  5. Hehe, just a short one from what happened to me yesterday:

"Ingo and also fK advised I go to the new boss´s welcome party to show my innocent, not so evil face.
To some it was a surprise as I usually work from home. They were happy to see me - talked to the CEO and he smiled as I had come in my happy red, white-polka-dotted coat he always enjoys.
Despite I had a brolly with me, this planet gave us rain whilst boss stood outside grilling sausages.
I offered my brolly - violet with white polka-dots. New boss sure now knows me."

  6. What a wonderful way to keep the writing tradition alive, even with Delores closing her blog! It's so thoughtful to keep the spirit of Words for Wednesday going.

  7. GERMANS

    Moltes gràcies!
