 Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. 

A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. 

Nothing rude or vulgar though.

And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us.

In memory of Elephant's Child, the meme is now continued by myself and a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look.

Charlotte's colour of the month is Carmine and I found a few more examples:

the seat covers on some of our buses are close to carmine

and so is the small tin which I have had for years that once held chocolate covered hazelnuts


and now holds my Christmas Bracelets

in other news, sad news, my kindle has died, with just over 400 books that I didn't yet transfer to a hard drive  😢😢

Will not turn on and will not charge up. I am bereft.

    Those dolls are so darn cute and their new Christmas dresses are ADORABLE! I can't remember the last time I saw a public pay phone here in Canada. And condolences on your Kindle dying -- that's a lot of books to lose, alas.

    Love the redheads’ reunion, so warm and joyful. The public phone booth is a charming relic, carmine pops beautifully everywhere. Sorry about the Kindle loss, that’s a hard blow.

Brother R came to visit and brought me some old paperwork belonging to my dad, who has been dead for 25 and a half years now.  They'd been stored in a container with moth balls and were quite stinky so I pegged them out on the clothes rack in the back porch three days later, most are now inside, but the heavier items such as dad's passports are still smelly so they are still out there.
