I am home...
..and so tired. after arriving back in Adelaide, we (well R) drove to the twins home so my brother could finally meet the twins and their mum. One of the brothers arrived home from school while we were there, so he met R too.
Since then I have arrived home, unpacked and sorted stuff and downloaded far too many photos, many of which may not even get posted. Not soon anyway.
Welcome home, and it is always a nice place to return to.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; coming home is the best part of time away.
DeleteI guess you are not only tired Elsie but also hungover after the family get together. It will be nice to see some of your photos of Port Pirie etc..
ReplyDeleteYorkshire Pudding; no hangovers here and I didn't take photos of Port Pirie this time, but we made a side trip to Port Germein and I took a few photos there.
DeleteWelcome back home and I guess you had a wonderful time. Looking forward to seeing your photos, R.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; thank you, it was a nice getaway.
DeleteI hope you get to show us pictures. Once you've caught your breath.
ReplyDeleteBoud; I will probably sort and schedule a few tomorrow.
DeleteAlways nice to be home again!
ReplyDeleteDebra She Who Seeks; home is always the best.
DeletePhotos are always terrific to keep. Named and dated :)
ReplyDeletehels; named and dated, ha ha. Many of my older photos aren't properly sorted and files have been carried over from older laptops so it's all guess work.
DeleteNow relax!
ReplyDeletejabblog; right after I do a couple of loads of washing, water the garden, go out for milk and sweep possum droppings off my steps and path.
DeleteGood to know that you're home safe. Welcome back. I'm sure you made some new family memories.
ReplyDeleteval; thank you. I don't think we made new memories so much as relived old ones.
DeleteWelcome home! I look forward to whatever photos you decide to post!
ReplyDeleteSteve Reed; thank you. I don't think they can match the excellent ones you always take.
DeleteThere's no place like home. Glad you made it back safe.
ReplyDeleteThe Happy Whisk; home is always best.
DeleteTake a loooong nap.
ReplyDeleteMike; I did that last night after the twins wore me out.
DeleteWelcome home. It's always nice to get back to our own space. Looking forward to the photos.
ReplyDeleteDVArtist; I didn't take too many, it wears out the phone battery.
DeleteIt's good to know you are back and safe. The best bet when you are so tired is a nap and a snack.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; the snack and nap is exactly what I did.
DeleteGood or bad to be home again? Hope you had a great time. Yesterday I finally finished editing my Perth etc-photos - 1.234 pics (and movies). Next: Ingo´s - we forgot the filter at home and weee.... had to edit each and every one.
ReplyDeleteHope you show some, too!
Iris; always good to be home again. I didn't take a lot of photos and some might be no good because of sun glare so I couldn't see what I was aiming at. Port Pirie doesn't have any murals either and the wharf area is closed so people can't go walking along there anymore.
DeleteAnd release breath.
ReplyDeleteSounds amazing.
Glow in the "hangover" of the experience. Look forward to what you want to tell us when you do.
jeanie; breath has been released. I wouldn't say amazing, because it's the same every time we go there, sister is a bit reclusive so we don't go inside, just chat on the front porch for about an hour then catch up with brother's old mates and their families.
