the road trip is happening
In spite of possible petrol shortages, tomorrow brother R and I are going to Port Pirie to see our older sister, so I will be offline a couple of days, but the Words for Wednesday has been scheduled so all who take part can still find them here.
April's words will be provided by messymimi, but I don't remember if she will post on her own blog or on mine.
Mimi, please let me know which.
I will be back late Wednesday or early Thursday, probably too tired to catch up with everyone.
Safe journey, have fun, and may there not be any petrol shortages!
ReplyDeleteDebra She Who Seeks; there are definitely shortages and restrictions now on how much people can have. Perhaps R will rent an electric vehicle.
Deleteenjoy
ReplyDeleteDora; I will, though it will be hot up there in the midnorth, about 90F
DeleteYou call that hot? That´s only 32C! Safe travels and loads of fun!
DeleteSafe travels and enjoy yourself.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; thank you.
DeleteI pray you have a great trip.
ReplyDeleteAs in past years, I will post words on my blog on Tuesday my time so everywhere in the world has them by Wednesday, their own time.
messymimi; thank you. I will add that to tomorrow's post before I go to bed tonight.
DeleteWishing you a safe and enjoyable trip.
ReplyDeleteVal; thank you.
DeleteHave a good safe trip R.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; R is a very careful driver always obeying road rules.
DeleteHave a good trip and return when you're rested!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; thank you.
DeleteSafe travels. I have a trip coming up and am contemplating train rather than driving as it will be possible
ReplyDeletejeanie; I am sad the train no longer goes to Port Pirie, bypasses and heads to Port Augusta instead. I used to like that train ride.
DeleteSafe travels, River!
ReplyDeleteI hope the drive goes smoothly despite the petrol situation, and that the visit with your sister is full of laughter and good memories.
Rest well when you return--we’ll all be here when you’re back.
Veronica Lee; thank you, it will be a short trip and sister isn't keen on visitors, though she loves to see us a couple of times a year. She is reclusive and prefers her world remain stable with few disruptions.
DeleteEnjoy your trip and have fun. We're not going anywhere, so will still be here on your return.
ReplyDeletejabblog; thank you, it was fun.
DeleteEnjoy your family trip to Port Pirie and don't sup too many tinnies!
ReplyDeleteYorkshire Pudding; tinnies? Not me, I don't drink alcohol.
DeleteHope you have a wonderful trip.
ReplyDeleteThe Happy Whisk; thank you.
DeleteSafe travels River and may your family reunion be all you hope for.
