Sunday Selections # 273

Welcome back to Sunday Selections!

This once-a- week-meme was originally begun by Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, as a way to showcase some of the many photos we all take, but don't get around to showing on our blogs.

The rules are very simple:-
1. post photos of your choice, old or new, under the Sunday Selections title
2. link back to me, River, somewhere in your post
3. leave me a comment so that I know you've joined in and can come over and see what you've posted.
4. hop on over to Elephant’s Child to see more of her wonderful photos.
  Andrew often joins in too.

I usually go with a theme for my Sunday Selections and this week, let's go back down memory lane a bit.

Remember J from last week?
I have his permission to show these, so here he is again.

our first or second Christmas back in Adelaide.

building a castle; this is in the first house we built.

I've been framed!

in the second house we built

after leaving the house with the fabulous garden, we moved here. Less garden, but the best peach tree in the world!

and J joined a basketball team.

birthday candle face-off; they both wanted to blow out the candles.

this is J eight years ago,

all grown up. I had to erase the other person, she doesn't want to be seen.

Comments

  1. And J grew into a fine looking young man. The years certainly fly by all too quickly.

Have yourself a good week, River. Cuddles to Angel. :)

  3. Author R. Mac Wheeler; memories are the best part of growing older, we have so many of them! And the fun is in telling grandchildren what their parents got up to.

joeh; and in the blink of an eye too!

Lee; he is a handsome lad with his father's charm. Cuddles to Remy and Shama.

fishducky; I have several nameless ones.

  6. It really is great to reminisce and look back on old family photos. J looks to be a very nice chap and my son used to grow his hair long way back.
