Musical Monday # 128
Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.
Today’s clip is: Dean Martin
That's Amore
and the lyrics:
so you can sing along :)
Gotta love Dean!
ReplyDeleteS.J.Qualls; absolutely!
DeleteMy son-in-law had just recently come to the US from Italy when he first heard this song--he thought it was hilarious!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; it does have some fun in it, makes you feel good too.
DeleteThis often comes into my head when I see a full moon.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; so, once a month then? You're a romantic.
DeleteHaving not thought about this song for years and years it has popped into my consciousness twice in three days...
ReplyDeleteA sign?
Elephant's Child; perhaps a sign, but of what? Perhaps you are able to see the future and know what I have scheduled? Or maybe the supermoon has something to do with it.
Deletelike that song, always enjoy Dean Martin.
ReplyDeleteMargaret-whiteangel; it's a great song and Dean is okay too.
DeleteCaught my self singing along.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
peppylady (Dora); nice to hear you singing, I do the same.
DeleteI do not want to be hit in the eye with a pizza!!!
ReplyDeleteThis song always reminds me of the wonderful movie "Moonstruck". That's such a fun movie.
Lee; you would prefer the pizza hit you in the mouth? At least you'd get a good sized bite that way :)
DeleteI have that movie in my cabinet and watch it now and again and sometimes wish I had Cher's hair.
I've always enjoyed Dean Martin for his humour as well as his wonderful voice.
ReplyDeleteHad this one on my 'to do' list for Friday Favourites but there are so many other great Dean Martin songs so no worries.
Thanks for sharing this and hope you have a good week.
Mimsie; I'm sure people won't mind hearing it twice and you could do a double feature with another song.
Delete.. One of my all time favourite Dean songs.... thanks River .. xxxx ... Barb xxx
ReplyDeletesad about the Fejoa tree coming down in the wind....
I think the bird in the tree might be a wattle bird by the shape.. xxxxx Barb xxx
Barbara; one of my all time favourites too. The bird is definitely a wattle bird, EC told me and then I looked it up in a bird book.
DeleteThe fejoia tree will be missed more by the birds I think, and eventually something else will be placed there.
Ooohhhh Dean Martin....yeah. Hug B
ReplyDeleteI could sing that one without seeing the lyrics. One of my oldie favorites.
