It's Autumn! Where is my cool?

 True, it's early in the season, but we've had a few comfortable days just to tease us and today we have 29C-30C that's 84F-86F

I've had to pull down the awning, close the drapes and turn on the airconditioning again.

We should rename it Indian Summer. 

Thankfully Easter is next weekend and things generally cool down more after that.

    While I am a great weather complainer, we've had a couple of great bright sunny days of low to mid twenties. Maybe tomorrow too.

      Andrew; you usually get our weather a couple of days later so you can expect more warmth soon. Then it should be cooler again.

      Iris; it's not so bad inside with the airconditioner cooling me, but the garden unexpectedly dried out so now I have to water everything again. Your spring is coming, probably after Easter.

    It is creeping up to 11C here at the moment and I am wearing two jumpers. Spring or is it still Winter... Sprinter???

      Jenn Jilks; some days I like, some days I don't. Heading through autumn is fine, winter isn't so bad until the air is frosty, then I'm too cold. I certainly couldn't live with your winter temperatures!

If you keep a tray there to catch spills and overflows, line the tray with aluminium foil instead. I've been trying to contact Haagen-Dazs

 You all know the ice cream company? Very expensive ice cream, which I recently discovered in small tubs at my local supermarket.  I'd heard about Salted Caramel ice cream, with some bloggers raving about it, so when I saw the Haagen-Dazs tubs on sale for only $5 I bought some.  I loved it! Fabulous stuff. Just the right amount of salted caramel streams to counteract the sweet ice cream. I would have rated it five stars. But just lately, I have been disappointed with the product containing far too much of the salted caramel and my rating now would be only one star. I went to the website and clicked on "contact us" to let them know I was no longer happy. The link popped up with an address to "General Mills" which I then clicked on only to find a small popup informing me they were "offline".  Just because it is past regular business hours or permanently?
