Sunday Selections # 720

Image
Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. a neighbours hydrangea has flowers in four colours coming home from the twins house recently I looked up and saw blue sky, nothing but blue sky, as far as the eys could see. Wednesday's Words on a Friday

Image
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by Wisewebwoman and can be found here This week's words/prompts are:  1. ravioli 2. serenity 3. marble 4. bridge 5. soccer  and/or:  1. foliage 2. nepotism 3. lectern 4. lantern 5. gorgonzola Also including Charlotte's colour of the month: Light Blue Here is my story, minus one of the words: Serenity Gray smiled to herself as she polished the new lectern with its marble inserts then set to work arranging the foliage for the next day’s service.  Her bridge club bake sale had rai...

Excellent advice I think. an "Aussie style" Christmas window display seen in the city by "no-one" David Jones Store has its traditional Chri...

Going back to the past for a while, some of you may remember me mentioning the gardens I used to have in previous homes, where the soil was so great.  Here is the best one> The grapevine that covered the back porch and my beautiful windchime which no longer exists. The view from the back door all the way down to the back fence, complete with a shirt on the washing line...
