Happy Happy News!

 Daughter-in-law-to-be:

first day up and walking after a second amputation and doing so well πŸ˜€πŸ’–

I had a grin that split my face and proud and happy tears streaming down my cheeks when she sent this to me yesterday.

This is the twins mum and we love her so much.

  5. I totally missed the story- amputation of legs?

    1. Linda Sue; she already had one prosthetic when I first met her, the second one is new, the leg amputated just a few months ago. She had that disease, Arteriosclerosis, where the arteries go rigid and no long pump the blood, so the legs gradually die from the toes up.

    1. Val; she is doing very well, but hasn't been MIA at all, she has been at home in a wheelchair and going to rehab as soon as the stump was properly healed.

    1. hels; she puts a lot of work in and the twins were bornwhile the "good" leg was still good, but then the toe infections began and two years of treatments didn't help a lot. My son and the older boys all help a lot. Thank you.
