I was going to ask, but Jennifer seems to have answered already. Pretty blue. Your previous camera post inspired one for me that will appear at some point.
Jennifer; I've no idea how long these fighters generally live. I know he was happy though, because he would swim around and when I noticed him he would fan out all his fins, like he was saying hello.
I thought they lived for 2 or 3 years, so it sounds like Chippy had a long life. And it sounds as though he was happy. Though it still hurts when they go :(
*hugs* It sounds like he had a lovely life. I'm not allowed Betta's anymore, because I cry too much when they pass on. At least my cats I get 15-17 years before I have to face that again.
Nothing much to tell here, I'm 60, I have 4 children, 5 grandchildren, all of whom are busy, busy, living life so we don't connect as much as we could.

Andrew; now I'm curious.

But he only remembered the last 3 minutes of it!
RIP Chippy
Marie; I like to think he had a happy life.
Frogdancer; three minutes......then nothing.

Devi; thanks.
Awwww.... sounds like he was happy and, um, fulfilled if the experts say he lived a long life. Such a pretty lookin' fella too!
