The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
I'm going to have to teach Remy and Shama to cook, or at least how to make a simple sandwich! However, they've shown no interest in wanting to learn how to cook, or in any food preparation, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteSome days I'd settle for just the bottle, after work.
ReplyDeleteEchoing Joanne. And I don't work.
ReplyDeleteCute chef though.
I'd teach our pooches how to cook but, no... I know the kind of thing Abby likes to eat!
ReplyDeleteOh my, cuteness overload :)
ReplyDeleteHe's probably just going to heat some Purina Human Food!!
ReplyDeleteA pup that can poor wine...priceless!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little guy....sure wish I had someone who understood what a 'ruff' day is.
ReplyDeleteSweet dog, and very clever about what is needed after a ruff day.
ReplyDeleteLee; Angel has no interest apart from eating and even if he could open the freezer, he probably couldn't reach the microwave.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; make mine a large hot&sweet coffee, we'll think about dinner later.
Elephant's Child; I don't care about the wine, but if that cutie could cook me a steak that would be just fine.
Jacquelineand...; dogs will eat anything, so if you teach yours to cook, they can just make extra for themselves.
Vicki; true :)
fishducky; do Purina make human food?
joeh; and he'll lick up the spills too.
Delores; wouldn't that be wonderful to come home to?
Andrew; I don't have so many ruff days now, but I sure wish Angel could at least turn on the kettle when he hears the key in the lock.
That little dog looks so dashing in his tux - a “ruff” day would just melt away at the sight!
ReplyDeleteSusan F; coming home to a cute chef and a cooked meal would certainly soothe away any ruff feelings.
