remember the monkeys that decorated my christmas tree? A repost for Iris Flavia who wanted to see my chimpanzees

(In December 2010)

(Harvey Banana)  What's going on?

What are you guys doing in this box?

(Hugo) We're moving to a new home. Wanna come?

(Harvey Banana) Of course! Move over, let me in.

(I keep these boys around for small visitors to play with).

  6. Delores; I would never leave them behind.

Kakka; thank you. I love monkeys, apes etc and these are better than the real thing, because I don't have to feed them or clean up after them.

    Pearl; (^_^)

Manzanita; they do don't they? And big smiles too.

Windsmoke; gald I could make somebody smile.

    EC; Me too.

  7. Ok...in the thumbnail that first photo looked like an incredibly unflattering photo of someone in beige leggings! Oh, whew...it's just a chimpanzee climbing into a cardboard box. 😂

    1. Arkansas Patti; they are fun, but don't get played with much, no visitors these days and the kids I once knew are all grown up.

  10. Oh, help, I´m SO SORRY I am late!!!
Awwww... Mielebaer is right here and says hi!
Ohhh. I SADLY have no pic, but my chimpanzee was black, and my parents wrote my names on his feet when they sent me to camp (tiny head didn´t grow, though).
Left foot "Iris", right one... well :-)
    His name was Fips.
Awww. Thank you for sharing!!! And bringing back Fips to my memory, too.

    1. Val; they never have yet, they're quite obedient. I don't think Lola would be too happy if they did, she thinks that bed is hers.
