remember the monkeys that decorated my christmas tree? A repost for Iris Flavia who wanted to see my chimpanzees
(In December 2010)
(Harvey Banana) What's going on?
What are you guys doing in this box?
(Hugo) We're moving to a new home. Wanna come?
(Harvey Banana) Of course! Move over, let me in.
(I keep these boys around for small visitors to play with).

Cute lol.
ReplyDeleteJayne; I love these cuddlies.
ReplyDeleteCan't leave those behind.
ReplyDeleteA pile of monkeys in a box, what a great way for them to play. Great post and photos xxx
ReplyDelete:-) That was adorable.
ReplyDeletePearl
They have a personality all of their own. Adorable pictures.

Clap, clap well done. Made me smile and brightened up my morning :-).
ReplyDeleteLove them. Lots.
ReplyDeleteDelores; I would never leave them behind.
ReplyDeleteKakka; thank you. I love monkeys, apes etc and these are better than the real thing, because I don't have to feed them or clean up after them.
Pearl; (^_^)
Manzanita; they do don't they? And big smiles too.
Windsmoke; gald I could make somebody smile.
EC; Me too.
Ok...in the thumbnail that first photo looked like an incredibly unflattering photo of someone in beige leggings! Oh, whew...it's just a chimpanzee climbing into a cardboard box. 😂
ReplyDeleteSandi; I never saw it like that, because of course I know what it really is.
DeleteHey, they would be fun for big visitors to play with.
ReplyDeleteArkansas Patti; they are fun, but don't get played with much, no visitors these days and the kids I once knew are all grown up.
DeleteThey are cute as monkeys!
ReplyDeleteJoanne; but much quieter than real monkeys and far less messy.
DeleteOh, help, I´m SO SORRY I am late!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww... Mielebaer is right here and says hi!
Ohhh. I SADLY have no pic, but my chimpanzee was black, and my parents wrote my names on his feet when they sent me to camp (tiny head didn´t grow, though).
Left foot "Iris", right one... well :-)
His name was Fips.
Awww. Thank you for sharing!!! And bringing back Fips to my memory, too.
Iris Flavia; more monkeys tomorrow.
DeleteI hope they don't start jumping on the bed!
ReplyDeleteVal; they never have yet, they're quite obedient. I don't think Lola would be too happy if they did, she thinks that bed is hers.
DeleteThey are gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteThey look quite entertaining.
