Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. you might need your magnifying glass or a high powered microscope to read the franking over the stamp: above the stamp it reads "secure your dog" and across the stamp "for safe delivery" - this was on a Christmas card that arrived through the mail from my brother. Nice. 😊
ReplyDeleteMike; thank you, I just watched it again and cried.
DeleteI love it! Though I am used to associating snow with the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteVal; I love it because it's Australian.
DeleteI haven't seen it - and will keep my eye out for it.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; it's usually on in the evenings.
DeleteVery sweet. And certainly t-shirt weather, lucky you! -1C right now, brrr.
ReplyDeleteIris; definitely t-shirt weather now, 25C, though yesterday and the day before were so cold and stormy. Places got flooded. It's a very sweet advertisement.
DeleteAwww . . .
ReplyDeletejabblog; awww indeed, it's makes me teary-eyed.
DeleteThat was cleverly done.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; I rescued several of your comments from spam. It is a clever advertisement and I like it a lot.
DeleteI haven't see it but how touching is that video, it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; it is beautiful, one of the better advertisements and there are so few of those!
DeleteThat really is a heart-breaking ad. We don't get it in the UK. Every year there's always a great John Lewis ad which you can catch on Youtube.
ReplyDeleteAMKT; Probably the UK ones have the usual snow etc, this one is uniquely Australian with the Kangaroos and the man drinking beer. it's an ad for 'Telstra', our local telephone network.
