Words for Wednesday

Charlotte's colour of the month is Steel Blue

The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems.

The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind.

If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know in comments so that we can come over and read it, and add a few encouraging words.

This week's words/prompts are supplied by messymimi and can be found on her blog as well as here on mine.

This week's words/prompts are:

1.mood  2.peanut  3.weakness  4.novel  5.ride  6. jump

and or:

1.asunder (apart)  2.nary (none)  3.rantipole (behaving in a romping or rude manner)

Use either list or both, mix and match, just have fun.

My own story will hopefully appear on this blog on Friday 21st

  6. "I´m in a bad mood. I went to bed at 10 p.m. and up at 10 a.m. - weakness. It´s peanut(s), just a Steel Blue swollen foot, hurting leg and back but I could write a novel that long is the ride by now.
I want to jump around, nary being a rantipole, of course."

Looking forward to yours. You atm just put the words in my mouth!

Ell vos està buscant a vosaltres"
I després, res...

    Moltes gràcies!

  8. Linda wasn’t in the mood to write that day. The promised novel was wads of paper around the floor and she didn’t see that any could come from her brain. “Nary a thing is here.” ‘

Instead, Linda left her in progress romance novel and revved up her old Ducati 750 Sport motorcycle, a classic if ever there was one. Spending a fortune on it was giving into weakness she had felt since her youthful wanderings. Not in the mood to go halfway, she took it out for the ride of a lifetime. Jumping the nearest obstacle gave her a thrill that she needed as she sailed over big boulders to an even larger one. It also was the one that would rip her asunder. “So much for writing today” she mused as her body gave way and she was gone.
