I often wonder if cats sleep so much out of pure boredom.
ReplyDeleteSo that's what that look means.
ReplyDeleteAnd they need their naps to get in shape for the sleeps. And their dinner. And brief periods of mayhem.
ReplyDeleteAll too familiar here - love it.
Delores; I think it's just their nature, cats in the wild do the same. They're nocturnal and most active at night anyway.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; if you can learn that to do look perhaps you can be left to sleep too.
Elephant's Child; the brief periods of mayhem, when they expend more energy in 15 seconds than I do in a week :)
Oh! Dear! It's time for my nap!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know that look... I've seen it in the mirror :)
ReplyDeleteLee; mine too.
ReplyDeleteVicki; I see it every morning, because Angel wakes me too early.
I do wonder how much the domestic cat would spend sleeping if it had to hunt for food.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; good point. Wildlife is becoming scarcer as we take over habitat, but there are still millions of pigeons around. Depends on how much time is spent digesting a pigeon and getting hungry enough to hunt again.
