Welcome to 2026! I hope this is a good year for everyone, hopefully even better than last year. Try not to fall over folks, it's not fun. 🌞🎈🎉 Coming to you from sunny Australia, that big lump of land under the equator. Sunday Selections will be continuing, hosted by me , participation is optional, if you can't manage every week for any reason, that's okay. Words for Wednesday will also be continuing, hosted by me , and again, participation is optional, play when you can, take a break when you need to. Charlotte will be providing a colour for each month as she did last year, we try to use the colour somewhere in our posts, either photographing something with that colour or using it in another way. This month's colour is Carmine: Isn't that just gorgeous? And why is my text in two different sizes?
I like this!
ReplyDeleteS.J Qualls; I never thought of the sharp ones that way before. Now it explains so much about several bosses I've known.
DeleteI was thinking that before I read the caption.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; then you are very clever, much more so than me.
DeleteI don't look sharp any time...work done or no work done! :)
ReplyDeleteLee; I used to look sharp when I was younger. I'd get the housework done, then shower and change, so I could sit around my spotless house looking like I never lifted a finger. Now I don't care, I slop around in my pyjamas kicking dust bunnies out of the way.
DeleteLove it.
ReplyDeleteAnd echo Lee.
Elephant's Child; it's a good one, yes? Maybe worthy of a t-shirt. A crumpled, work weary T-shirt.
Delete.. great cartoon and observation.... I think my days of looking sharp are over, too..... lol... I'm comfortably worn away 'round the edges..
ReplyDelete...hugs... Barb xxxx
Barbara; me too, soft and comfortable wins over sharp and unapproachable around here.
DeleteI still have a little bit of a point, but my eraser's gone!!
ReplyDeletefishducky; I think you keep spare points up your sleeve, your posts are always so sharp.
DeleteI've never looked sharp in my life! :D
ReplyDeleteVicki; there must have been at least one moment when you were sharp as a whistle :)
ReplyDeleteI have to share this on my Facebook page. Needless to say I never look sharp. LOL
ReplyDeleteGranny Annie; as long as the mind is sharp, who cares about looks, right?
