kitchen tip #?????
Not exactly environmentally friendly...... Line the base of your oven with a sheet of aluminium foil. If you keep a tray there to catch spills and overflows, line the tray with aluminium foil instead. It's much easier to throw away a sheet of foil (once it's been spilled on a few dozen times), than it is to scrub off baked on spillovers.
Amazing!
ReplyDeletemessymimi; isn't it just! It looks like a bushfire rolling in.
DeleteThat's beautiful. No one has a photographer's eye like No-One!
ReplyDeleteVal; she is good, but she says the whole sky was like this, so pretty hard to miss. It's the rising sun on the cloudy sky.
DeleteGorgeous photo but then it's also the sky - takes two, no one and the sky.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; autumn in Australia :)
DeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeleteRajani Rehana; thank you
DeleteIndeed at first I thought of a bush fire!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful sky. I´ve seen that in Perth when the sun went down, but never ever here.
Iris Flavia; I'm glad it wasn't a bushfire. We don't often see sunrises as red as this one, usually it is the setting sun that catches the clouds.
Deletewow. That is an incredible sky. I am so glad it wasn't the fire it looks like.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; she does often seem to be out at the right time. I'm also glad it wasn't a fire.
DeleteBeautiful, but dangerous looking. I hope it was only an effect of the sunrise, nothing fiery.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; definitely only the sunrise against the night clouds.
DeleteWhat a strange name to have! :)
ReplyDeleteLee; you might remember she very briefly had a blog several years ago, "nothing by no-one"
DeleteThat is a very dramatic sky. According to conventional wisdom it is the augury of bad weather to follow, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteDavid M. Gascoigne; usually, but on that day we didn't get the rain it foretold, not where I'm living anyway. Maybe in her area.
DeleteThat is both beautiful and a little bit terrifying.
ReplyDeleteArkansas Patti; beautiful, but it didn't last long. Only terrifying if there was a fire instead of the sunrise.
DeleteHow gorgeous! What a great beginning to a day!
ReplyDeleteXO
WWW
WWW; a beautiful beginning and the rest of the day was also good.
DeleteBeautiful photo and I'm so glad it was not fire.
ReplyDeleteI have seen a red sky like this. I see people dancing in the dark clouds.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
