big news!
I have just received a message on my phone,
an image of an ultrasound,
with a delightful little blob labelled 1
and next to it another delightful little blob labelled 2
my youngest son and his girlfriend are having twins.
TWINS!!
We are all SO excited!
Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeletemessymimi; thank you :)
DeleteI think twins would be extra hard in the early years, but pay dividends as they get older. Wonderful news, so special.
ReplyDeletejoeh; I think the hardest time is the newborn stage when they require a lot more feeding and changing, then as they get older they can play together while mum gets a much needed cup of tea.
DeleteWonderful, wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; yes it is. This makes six grandchildren for me. The twins are due in late June.
DeleteJoyful event.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Dora; it is a very joyful event, babies are always welcome in my family.
DeleteOH MY GOSH! That is fantastic news! I was thinking from the title that you might have had a lottery win, but this is much more exciting! Congratulations to the impending parents.
ReplyDeleteVal; very fantastic, we knew she was pregnant but didn't know about the twins until this morning. Mind you, a lottery win would be equally fantastic, but you can't cuddle money like you can babies.
DeleteOh my goodness how wonderful is that! Congratulations to you all and hoping the all goes well as I'm sure it will.
ReplyDeleteMargaret D; thank you, I'm sure all will be well.
DeleteCongratulations and snap. Nephew and his wife are to have twins in the same month as yours. I will post about it in a few days. Will they be their first children?
ReplyDeleteAndrew; congratulations to you too then. First children for my son, but not for his girlfriend.
DeleteGratz! Double gift is good!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; it's going to be interesting as well as busy. I can't stop looking at the ultrasound image.
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your family.
Victor SE Moubarak; thank you :)
DeleteOh, wow, that is wonderful!!! Fun times ahead!
ReplyDeleteIris Flavia; fun times for sure, thank you.
DeleteThat is huge, delightful news. Am so happy for you and your son's family. You have been doubly blessed.
ReplyDeleteArkansas Patti; thank you, this is huge news, indeed.
DeleteCongrats to all, though as you know a huge amount of work (not to mention gestation). But how delightful!!!

WWW
WWW; it will be a huge amount of work for a couple of years at least, but there will be fun times too.
DeleteHow lovely, River! Twice the work but twice the fun :D
ReplyDeletejenny_o; thank you, I see many busy days ahead.
DeleteOur twin grandsons are SO MUCH fun.
ReplyDeleteKathy G; I expect these twins will also be fun, once they get to the crawling and walking stages.
DeleteTwins--whoa! It will be exciting, exhausting and a little bit terrifying. Congratulations!
