big news!

I have just received a message on my phone,

an image of an ultrasound,

with a delightful little blob labelled 1

and next to it another delightful little blob labelled 2

my youngest son and his girlfriend are having twins.

TWINS!!

We are all SO excited!

  1. I think twins would be extra hard in the early years, but pay dividends as they get older. Wonderful news, so special.

    1. joeh; I think the hardest time is the newborn stage when they require a lot more feeding and changing, then as they get older they can play together while mum gets a much needed cup of tea.

  4. OH MY GOSH! That is fantastic news! I was thinking from the title that you might have had a lottery win, but this is much more exciting! Congratulations to the impending parents.

    1. Val; very fantastic, we knew she was pregnant but didn't know about the twins until this morning. Mind you, a lottery win would be equally fantastic, but you can't cuddle money like you can babies.
