Words for Wednesday
The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.

DeleteI hope that the people of Russia will discover the bravery needed to rise up against that nasty little squirt who should resigned to history as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteYorkshire Pudding; I hope so too :)
DeleteAs most Danses too, I go with the Snflowers!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; I wish I had sunflowers in my yard for them :)
DeleteAnd every German, too. I do believe also German-Russians are pro-Ukraine. As many Russians who dare or do not dare to protest in Russia.
ReplyDeleteTV makes me cry these days, even Ingo had tears in his eyes. Many refugees will come to Germany, and we are ready.
Iris Flavia; I am glad to hear Germany is ready to help :) I hope the people of Russia one day learn to stand against this nasty little man.
DeleteMe too. Haven't heard one world to the contrary out side of our ignorant former President. We admire and support Ukraine. May Putin rot in Hell.
ReplyDeleteArkansas Patti; thank you. Rotting in hell might be too good for him.
DeleteThere may be different opinions on how we respond but like you, everyone I know is supportive of Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; yes, people will think differently on sending weapons and non military items, but at least we all help, even just thinking about them and hoping.
DeleteI stand with Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteNas; welcome to drifting, and thank you :)
DeleteMay the Ukraine persevere and unmask Putin for the fraud he is.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; I read in my newspaper this morning that Putin began this plan 15 years ago when he invaded Georgia and got away with it. I hope he can be stopped very soon. He was indicated France will be next.
DeleteThe world can always count on Aussies.
ReplyDeleteStay strong Ukraine!
Russians turn against your tyrant!
joeh; thank you. Yes, please, Russians, turn against your tyrant!
DeleteI do wonder what the Russian soldiers are thinking. They are doing what they are told, but do they want to be doing it?
Saturday is the 69th anniversary of Stalin's death. A fine date for a tyrannicide, a friend of mine stated.
ReplyDeleteSean Jeating; there is always a good date for tyrannicide. He must be stopped.
