kitchen tip #?????
Not exactly environmentally friendly...... Line the base of your oven with a sheet of aluminium foil. If you keep a tray there to catch spills and overflows, line the tray with aluminium foil instead. It's much easier to throw away a sheet of foil (once it's been spilled on a few dozen times), than it is to scrub off baked on spillovers.
It could apply to many places in the world, from Syria to Ukraine, and even the US. It's a sad truth.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, although those other places are at war with other countries. America seems to be at war with itself.
DeleteTragic.
ReplyDeletejabblog; very tragic, guns mean more than people? More than children?
DeleteI didn't see it, and don't know whether it makes me sadder or angrier.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; sad, angry and despairing.
Deletesame here. says a lot in just a few lines.
ReplyDeleteSusan kane; it's just so unbelieveably sad.
DeleteIt's just the sad truth.
ReplyDeleteMike; and it shouldn't be!
DeleteNo, I didn't see it. How awful.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe.
Dora; I'm not going to visit that blog again. It's too heartbreaking.
DeleteThere is so much pain on every side, i don't know where to start.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; where to start is a huge problem, since the gun lobby is so huge and it seems their guns and the freedom to use them are far more important than the children.
DeleteYes, small they are. I thought you refer to the last school-shooting in the USA. That is so common by now it does not make it to our news even. Read about it somewhere online.
ReplyDeleteSad and sick. The school I went to, and big Niece now... has turned into a drug-dealer place. Yes, pupils... as dealers.
Being old I can say I had a "good" childhood without such issues. Or I was protected in our little town, who knows (or wants to know).
Iris; yes the last school shooting but also ALL the other shootings that came before and will keep happening. Things were so much different when we were young and at school. When did it all go so wrong?
DeleteI do believe it´s ... the people´s way.
DeleteWe grew up as post-war-generation. Loads of problems, but thankfulness, too, for peace. Now... frustration everywhere? Bad/no jobs? Is that an explanation? I am not sure... Maybe dumbness, too. Or that people do not speak the language of the country they "went in"?
it is terribly sad.
ReplyDeleteJenn Jilks; and how can it be stopped?
DeleteThat is sick....I would stay away from those blogs also. After Nashville, where I live, going through a school shooting last month, it makes it even harder.
ReplyDeletePam; I am very glad I live in Australia. We have violent things happening here, but not on the same scale.
DeleteAmerica's obsession with guns is perverse. I've never understood it.
ReplyDeleteSteve Reed; perverse and getting worse and now they are changing other laws too, undermining the freedoms of women.
DeleteI didn't see it but how sad.
ReplyDeleteMary Kirkland; I cried so much!
