    1. only slightly confused; I tried not to when I was little, I didn't want to be thought mentally challenged like my sister who also always spoke to herself. I grew out of that of course and now talk to my self all the time. I talk to the TV too, telling it how silly it is mostly.

    1. Jimmy; I try to agree with my own expert advice, but when it's telling me I need to cook meat and vegetable and all I really want is cream cake, I sometimes ignore it.

  9. Talking out loud to myself is how I make myself focus if my mind is wandering! Now I'll have to ask myself for some advice and see how I do answering ...

    1. jenny_o; it's a good way to rein in that wandering mind, sometimes I just let it keep wandering, see where it takes me.

  10. I talk to myself, but my husband butts in and argues with me! Even when it has nothing to do with him, but rather something simple like steps I'm going through getting supper ready.

I say he must feel guilty about whatever he accuses me of saying about him.

  11. Val;don't you find that annoying? You have a good conversation going with yourself and along comes anybody to put in his two cents worth.
