    Talking to yourself is OK; it's when you ask yourself a question & then say "What?" that you should worry!!

      only slightly confused; I tried not to when I was little, I didn't want to be thought mentally challenged like my sister who also always spoke to herself. I grew out of that of course and now talk to my self all the time. I talk to the TV too, telling it how silly it is mostly.

      Jimmy; I try to agree with my own expert advice, but when it's telling me I need to cook meat and vegetable and all I really want is cream cake, I sometimes ignore it.

      I wholeheartedly agree, River. I hate it when someone talks over me...and some people insist on doing so!!

      Have you noticed it took me 7-1/2 hours to reply...just so I wouldn't talk over you! :)

      jenny_o; it's a good way to rein in that wandering mind, sometimes I just let it keep wandering, see where it takes me.

    I talk to myself, but my husband butts in and argues with me! Even when it has nothing to do with him, but rather something simple like steps I'm going through getting supper ready.

    I say he must feel guilty about whatever he accuses me of saying about him.

Sunday Selections # 691

 Long ago, Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child ( https://myjustsostory.blogspot.com.au) and I join in as do a few others. Andrew (https://fromthehighrise.blogspot.com.au) is one.   Messymimi (https://messymimismeanderings.blogspot.com) is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look,  Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally.
