The original Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and eventually taken over by a moveable feast of participants when Delores had computer troubles. Sadly, Delores has now closed her blog forever due to other problems. The aim of the words is to encourage us to write. A story, a poem, whatever comes to mind. If you are posting an entry on your own blog, please let us know so we can come along to read it and add a few encouraging words. This month the words/prompts are supplied by River (that's me) and can be found here This week's words/prompts are: 1. on the run 2. belong 3. street 4. breakfast 5. tent and this image: taken by "Genius" and allowed by Val . Also Charlotte's colour of the month which is Orient Red for September.
Dusting would be enough for me.
ReplyDeleteJoanne; I'd like someone to look at my floors and say "this won't do at all" and then get scrubbing.
DeleteNow that sounds like a plan.
ReplyDeleteonly slightly confused; it's a GREAT plan :)
DeleteSomeone who definitely thinks outside the box. I like it. Except that I would feel obliged to clean the house before the group got there.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; I'd probably do a tidy up, sweep the floors, but that's about it. I've got lazier as I've got older. I spent far too long making sure my floors were clean enough to eat off.
DeleteThat is an idea ...
ReplyDeleteSharon; take it and use it with my blessing :)
DeleteGuaranteed to have any pictures on the wall straightened up.
ReplyDeleteAndrew; pictures are supposed to be straight?
DeleteHa, ha, ha, ha, ha.........
ReplyDeleteGranny Annie; I do like to hear people laughing :)
DeleteI also heard of house cleaning party..
ReplyDeletepeppylady (Dora); another great idea! :)
DeleteWell...a fight might break out over who gets to clean it their way.
ReplyDeleteVal; that would be the fly in the ointment. I'd better have the fire hose ready to cool off the combatants.
DeleteI think I will join that club and have the first meeting here at my place! I might get lucky! :)
ReplyDeleteLee; let me know how that goes :)
DeleteI wouldn't care how they cleaned the house!
ReplyDeleteCathy; as long as they rinsed the mop after and put things back in place. and they would have to do my windows. Both of them.
DeleteHa, ha, ... this could just work!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
What a great idea!!
