Cautiously optimistic

 The commenting thing seems to have resolved itself, I have successfully commented at several blogposts this morning. I hope it "sticks".

    It's quite isolating not to be able to comment and 'join in' the dialogue, so I hope the cure is a lasting one.

    It works! Thank you - and I hope it stays like this. As I told, I had that same problem, but not any more.
    An explanation would be fine, but it seems that recently large corporations feel above explaining to anyone but shareholders ... sorry if I sound a bit bitter, I just had had too many episodes like this recently.

Sunday Selections #754

 Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. Brother R came to visit and brought me some old paperwork belonging to my dad, who has been dead for 25 and a half years now.  They'd been stored in a container with moth balls and were quite stinky so I pegged them out on the clothes rack in the back porch three days later, most are now inside, but the heavier items such as dad's passports are still smelly so they are still out there.
