not good news
Sadly, tomorrow's birthday party for the twins has been cancelled, there is a stomach bug rampaging through the house causing much up-chucking and at the other side of town, "no-one" has covid and is feeling pretty awful.

Not exactly environmentally friendly...... Line the base of your oven with a sheet of aluminium foil. If you keep a tray there to catch spills and overflows, line the tray with aluminium foil instead. It's much easier to throw away a sheet of foil (once it's been spilled on a few dozen times), than it is to scrub off baked on spillovers.

That's disappointing. I hope are soon well and maybe the party can happen next weekend.

ReplyDeleteVal; I am sorry too, I'd been hoping we would all avoid covid at least, but "no-one" has it so she will be out of action for a couple of weeks. In the twins house as long as everyone washes their hands and doesn't share cups etc, they should all be okay in a week. The party will happen eventually.
DeleteVery disappointing, but children, particularly small ones, and illness go hand in hand. I hope 'no-one' is not too sorely afflicted and recovers quickly. Covid doesn't seem to be taking a back seat.
ReplyDeletejabblog; "no-one" says her case is like a bad flu and she plans to sleep a lot for the next week. Small children do catch more things when they have older siblings at school to bring home germs.
