Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.

ReplyDeleteI like the music. Less fond of his voice. It is nice, but I don't like the intonations towards the end of many lines. But I am a musical moron.
ReplyDeleteLove it...love the lyrics....I love this kind of music (I love music of all genres).....it has a wandering troubador feel about it...and folksy, of course. Good stuff!

ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; his voice is a little rough, but we can pretend he is overcome with emotion; in the show this plays when Tom and Liz have broken up. The music is lovely and runs through my head often.
Lee; it's perfect for the scene in which I heard it, when Liz is leaving the house she shared with Tom. I'm going to miss Tom and Liz while they're on break. Red too, but mostly Tom and Liz.
Margaret-whiteangel; the guitar work is lovely, the song is new to me too, i don't remember it being played on radio at all; I only heard it on The Blacklist.
