lightbulb moment, thanks to Lissa, click on those three horizontal lines on the left above the blog name and the sidebar appears!

not sure it will work for those on Chrome, but give it a try.

    I can see the sidebar - which is just as well because I an't see three horizontal lines above the blog name.

      Above and a bit to the left? They're only about a cm long.

      Nope. Not a thing. Perhaps it doesn't show because I can see the sidebar already. Above the blog name is dark in my browser which doesn't help.

    My chrome is working like EC's. It's not. But it's OK; we can still read what you are posting.

      Joanne; I do wish you could read all the chapters. I haven't finished editing yet, but there are thirteen chapters so far with more to come.

    to be clear, those three bars on the top left doesn't show if you have clicked into a post, it only shows when you're on the home page.

    I have no problems with chrome but I usually use firefox anyway.

      Lissa; yes, I noticed they are only on the home page, so people can use them from there to find my link to the stories, hopefully. but so many can't which makes me sad.

 Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though.
