lightbulb moment, thanks to Lissa, click on those three horizontal lines on the left above the blog name and the sidebar appears!

not sure it will work for those on Chrome, but give it a try.

    I can see the sidebar - which is just as well because I an't see three horizontal lines above the blog name.

      Above and a bit to the left? They're only about a cm long.

      Nope. Not a thing. Perhaps it doesn't show because I can see the sidebar already. Above the blog name is dark in my browser which doesn't help.

    My chrome is working like EC's. It's not. But it's OK; we can still read what you are posting.

      Joanne; I do wish you could read all the chapters. I haven't finished editing yet, but there are thirteen chapters so far with more to come.

    to be clear, those three bars on the top left doesn't show if you have clicked into a post, it only shows when you're on the home page.

    I have no problems with chrome but I usually use firefox anyway.

      Lissa; yes, I noticed they are only on the home page, so people can use them from there to find my link to the stories, hopefully. but so many can't which makes me sad.

This article in yesterday's paper caught my eye. Looks like mould to me. But. Forget the sensational headline for a minute and focus on the can. Notice how it's a little blackened around the bottom rim? I'm not sure it shows, but it looks like the can has been standing in wet conditions, the wrapper looks a little wrinkled too at top and bottom. Was it like this when it was bought?  If yes, why buy it?  If no, then how was it stored in the home environment?  Use by date. Usually irrelevant, unless the can has been opened. We all know that once a can is opened the contents need to be used immediately, especially baby foods. She mentions somewhere in the story that the contents appeared "a bit runny". Sunday Selections # 790

 Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.  A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.  Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. In memory of Elephant's Child, the meme is now continued by myself and a few others. Andrew is one.  Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. Starting this week with a "wish" who remembers cupping one of these in the palm of your hand, making a wish and then blowing it away? If it flew up and away your wish was supposed to come true. I dug around in the pot where I had planted pieces of a sprouting potato and came up with these tiny morsels, the coffee mug is for size reference. Try not to fall over folks, it's not fun.  🌞🎈🎉 Coming to you from sunny Australia, that big lump of land under the equator.  Sunday Selections will be continuing, hosted by me , participation is optional, if you can't manage every week for any reason, that's okay.
