Long ago, Kim of Frog ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections.
A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please.
Nothing rude or vulgar though.
And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us.
The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child null and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally.
Beginning with the twins:
from this, Gen weighing five pounds, Ana weighing four pounds
to this, not so well, but getting better after a gastric bug rampaged through the household
in no time at all, Genevieve with Bingo and Anastasia with Bluey, from the TV show.
the day after, they were well enough to enjoy mini cakes and strawberries on their own kid size table and chairs
"no-one" bought me a tiny rhubarb plant which is now in a pot in the garden, I hope it thrives, I really like rhubarb
on a windy day I left the doors open for the breeze
and it tinkled every chime in the house
the day before delivery of my new washing machine I moved all the bookshelves
out of the narrow entry to make enough room
I was shocked to see how many dead bugs and cobwebs with empty spider eggs had accumulated in the ten years the shelves had been there, plus one live spider which I squished right away.
I cleaned it as best I could
then this arrived the next day, a Westinghouse Easycare 500 (and I had to push all those bookshelves back into place.)
with a simple dial to choose the program and touchpads to choose water temperature and spin speeds
here it is n place with the dryer stacked back on top. It works well, but I am going to miss the Asko forever.
what a terrible thing to do to a tree, I saw two of these in the same garden on my way to the shops.
and further down the street the pretty gingko tree has turned golden
and is dropping a pretty carpet on the footpath
finishing with Lola who has the best life with not a care in the world.

A delightful selection and I am glad that the twins are recovering fast.
I'm with Lola.she has the right idea! :)
Take good care...have an enjoyable week ahead, River...give my cuddles to lovely Lady Lola....when she stirs. :)
What do you do with rhubarb? I tried it once - it was sour. Maybe Ingo did it wrong?
OH! I.. no, my big chime is too loud to go on the balcony... Only when I am there to stop it in time - but I have a small one Ingo activates when coming into the room, I love :-)
Eww. OK, know what to expect moving furniture!
I would say: To kindle... but I have way too many books I would not give away, but move, too!
Yep, our Miele is like your new one, too. Heck, we want clothes to be cleaned, nothing more, right?
Back in Rhüden Ingo had your system, too, with a dryer on top.
Now I am the dryer...
To your Asko!!! Now I miss our old Miele microwave, too...
Eww... Autumn you have for sure now. I´d like to feel like Lola... instead we´ll go voting for... for what?
Either way, to a happy Sunday.
Your washing machine does look lovely, hope it lasts a long time - washing.
Lola, well that is a good place to be, my old departed cat used to lay by the heater and often singed himself. I've got one windchime outside.
Gingko Biloba leaves turn an incredibly beautiful yellow and make an amazing tea!
Have a beautiful Sunday !
I used to have a BIG chime in my previous home, it hung in the carport and sounded lovely, almost like church bells, but I had to tie it up when the wind was stormy. The ex thought the sound would annoy the neighbours so he had it tied up almost all the time and one day he ripped it down and threw it under a cupboard. I cried.
The best part about the Asko was the silence, I hardly knew it was running and the spin cycle was so long the clothes came out almost dry enough to wear.
We have winter now, cloudy skies with plenty of blue still and maybe three drops of rain. So I still have to water the garden.
The girls are laughing and playing again so I'd say they are completely well again now.
I had some of my chimes outside, but brought them all in years ago after some things got stolen. Probably it is safe to put them back out by why take that chance? I like them inside anyway.
All that heating is not just for Lola, I live here too!

I hope you're finding your way round your new machine. It soon becomes second nature.
Those girls are precious. I'm so glad their parents let you post photos here.
