Long ago, Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, (who no longer blogs), dreamed up a meme called Sunday Selections. A place where those who were willing could put up photos they wanted to share, new, old, good, bad or indifferent, any photos you please. Nothing rude or vulgar though. And we don't mind at all if other bloggers care to join us. The meme is now continued by Elephant's Child and I join in as do a few others. Andrew is one. Messymimi is another. Drop in to their blogs and have a look. Wisewebwoman has also been joining us occasionally. ReplyDeleteLinda Sue; this is from the 70s so they're probably not still around.
DeleteNever heard of The Rubettes, but I really enjoyed their music and their voices. where did they go?

DeleteI'd never heard of them but they have been around for a long time and still are. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rubettes
ReplyDeleteMike; they are still around? I'll see what else they have on you tube.

ReplyDeletejabblog; that's what amused me too.
DeleteYES! I remember that one - The Rubettes were almost a one-hit wonder, but they carried on for a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte; I have just discovered The Rubettes are still around.
DeleteI would imagine they had fun with it and enjoyed their 15 minutes.
ReplyDeletemessymimi; they look like they are having fun.
