Musical Monday # 10
Musical Monday
I was introduced to
Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way
to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same
time.
I’ll be finding my clips
on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many
versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong
artist.
Today’s clip is: Electric Light Orchestra, more commonly known as ELO in my house anyway.
Hold on Tight To Your Dreams
and here's the lyrics
this is one of my all time favourite songs.
After all, if we can't hold on to our dreams, what have we got left?
Wow..that's bouncy.
ReplyDeleteHopping and bopping along here this morning. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteA perfect feel-good song. Thanks for the lift!
ReplyDeleteDelores; I love bouncy, anything that gets the feet and fingers tapping is good.
ReplyDeleteElephant's Child; this is a good one for walking, has a good beat.
Susan; you're welcome, feel good stuff dominates my playlist. What's the point of music that doesn't make you happy?
I am so out of touch with modern music and that is a new one on me and yet perhaps it has been around for years. Sounds cheerful which is important these days and dream on we must even as we age.
ReplyDeleteMimsie; yes, it has been around for years. From the 80s I think.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of songs for a Monday morning. Sometimes I need to be reminded to start a new week by letting go of the last one and looking forward with hope.
ReplyDeleteI'm a day late, but as the saying goes...better late than never; and music still sounds great even if I am running late! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, River...a cuddle for Angel from me.
Karen; I never need to "let go" of the old week, It's history immediately.
ReplyDeleteLee; Angel has had lots of cuddles today, (Wednesday) he's been to the vet and had a little excess baggage removed.
One of my running songs:)
ReplyDeleteStill no idea what the French part means though :P
