Musical Monday # 11

Musical Monday

I was introduced to Musical Monday by Delores who copied the meme from another site.
I think it’s a fun way to show off some of the music we like and brighten up our Mondays at the same time.

I’ll be finding my clips on you tube, so will simply credit that site since there are often so many versions of everything and I wouldn’t want to accidentally credit the wrong artist.

Today’s clip is Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) again

Rock and Roll is King

and the lyrics for those (like me) who can't quite get all the words.

another of the favourites on my ipod playlist, this one is great for walking to, a good steady beat to keep those feet moving.

  1. Another good one...so bouncy.

  2. Sadly it tells me I can't listen to it - not been made available in my country.
But ELO is always hoppy and boppy.

  3. Delores; ELO is one of my favourite groups.

Elephant's Child; you're in the same country as me.....

  4. And it still won't play for me - with the same silly message. Hiss and spit.

  5. ...good choice, River. We have their Greatest Hits album (was a CD, now burned into the iPod collection) and when I selected 'shuffle' they were always welcome :)

  6. Elephant's Child; can you listen via youtube? That's where I found it.

Kath; they brighten up the day don't they? And the beat is good for walking to if you can find a nice long stretch of road.

  7. Hi River,

Believe it or not, ELO were my favourite band in the early 1970s.

    :-)

  8. The first video won't play, but the second one does...a good way to kick start the week after a long weekend! ;)

  9. Bwahahaha, great for walking to, River you know I can't walk and listen without going straight into a lamp post.

  10. Plasman; I believe it.

Lee; at least one of them plays.

JahTeh; those pesky lamp posts, always in the way of a good listen.
