Whimsical Wednesday #76

Welcome back to Whimsical Wednesday!

The day for your googled giggle that gets you over the hump that is Wednesday and sliding down into the weekend.

I wish I'd had a tiger to make math homework more interesting.

Comments

  1. I always liked Calvin and Hobbes. Did you ever read Pogo comic strips?

  2. Laura has us feeling like Hobbs this year, checking her math. That's not how I learned it, including 9+4.

  3. I adore Calving and Hobbes. The skinny one and I have a collection of their books, and read and reread them. And that Hobbes explanation made at least as much sense as the 'real' one I was given about calculus.

  4. Delores; I've never heard of Pogo, it must be an American or Canadian comic.

Joanne; I never had anyone check my homework. My dad kept telling me work should be done in school not at home so I shouldn't do it. I never did learn that study habit.

Merlesworld; I had a Hobbes once, my younger son won a tiger at the Royal Show and brought it home for me. One of the grandchildren later claimed it for their own.

Elephant's Child; I didn't get as far as calculus. I understand it's quite hard, unless you're Sheldon Cooper.

  5. Maybe you're just born with it too. What a day. Hope you are flying high.

  6. Manzanita; I'm born with charm, everybody likes me. I'm nice. Ha Ha.

  7. Calculus isn't all that hard... Sheldon just wants everyone to believe it's hard for anyone who isn't HIM. (Dontcha love that show?) I love Calvin & Hobbes, too.

  8. I loves Calvin and Hobbes, and would have loved to have been able to use eleventee and thrity twelve...seriously, awesome numbers.

  9. Susan; Sheldon is still childish enough to believe that no one else can possibly be a smart as he is. LOVE that show and own the dvds so watch it often.

The Wicked Writer; Calvin and Hobbes are my favourite cartoons, when I read the funny page I always read C&H last so it stays in my mind for longer. I cut some out and stick them on my kitchen wall too.
