NOT a sponsored post

I don't do sponsored stuff, but I do like this detergent....

Palmolive ultra concentrate in the lemon scent

see? Ultra concentrated, use half as much, which I do.

You can see I started this bottle on December 22nd last year.

it holds it's a nice size bottle to be carrying home from the shops, not too big or too heavy.

and after all these weeks the bottle still isn't empty.

the dishwater stays nice and sudsy....

even after washing....

all these dishes.

There's a saucepan, a frying pan, a couple of plates and cups hiding under the colander, and a whole bunch of cutlery.
With knives.
Which did not cut me!
This time. hahahaha

  1. Knives would not dare misbehave surrounded by powerful antibacterial dish soap!

  2. The next time I crack open a new bottle of Dawn I'll have to write the date on it.

  3. Very economical. Might have to look at buying some, next time detergent is on the list.

  4. Geo; yet they so often do...

Delores; I've dated lots of things to see how long they last. While I'm using them I set aside the amount I would normally spend on those things, then when I have enough $$$ or I run out of product,I buy a year's supply at a time, or six months depending on the item. My back porch cabinet is stacked.

Vicki; give it a try, but watch out if you are used to giving the bottle a good squirt, you'll have to learn to squirt less.

  5. Rub a dub dub
Lots of suds in that tub
    I've never tried that brand.
    It looks efficient and economical

  6. That does look good! We have a dishwasher here, but I'll tell Mum about it. :-D

  7. Manzanita; maybe you don't have this brand where you are, it's excellent stuff.

Cassandra; it doesn't come in dishwasher type, but for small loads in the sink you could have some handy.

  8. Those knives are just waiting, plotting and biding their time :-)

What a good idea to write the date on the bottle.

Isn't it great when you find a product you like? I can't even remember what I used when I lived in Adelaide. Here I use an environmentally friendly brand called Grumme. I use all of their products (household cleaners, laundry liquid, dishwasher tablets at home, dishwashing liquid in the boat, caravan and summer cottage) and they are great. The dishwashing liquid uses 2ml per 5 litres of water. I don't know how that compares to yours, but it gets everything clean, even the greasy frying pan and those killer knives.

  9. I have used Morning Fresh for years and the last couple of bottles (yet unopened) I think are more of a concentrate or similar. They are quite small and seem to last for months. I've never thought of putting a date on them but will try that from now on just for the heck of it.
I noticed Delores uses a brand called Dawn. Do you remember years ago when there were toilet rolls with the Dawn brand and we used to call it "Do away with newspaper"?

  10. Either this is a magical bottle of dish liquid, or you don't wash dishes often, or you have figured out a way for the bottle to refill itself. Either way, it is awesome.

  11. Marie; 2ml to 5 litres sounds about right. It's nice when you find a product you like that works well. Even better when it doesn't suddenly disappear off the shelves never to be seen again. I used to buy Trix in the one litre bottle but then the price went up and I decided to try this concentrate, which I am now sticking with.

Mimsie; I don't like the smell of Morning Fresh, especially the mint one. A small bottle would be a concentrate. Do you also remember the Dawn jingle? There's pink and blue and primrose too...

Susan Kane; there's just me here, so I was dishes only once a day, usually after dinner at night. If I skip that, I'll wash up after breakfast the next day, so there's more dishes then, but I still use the same tiny amount of liquid.

  12. Morning Fresh! Yes, thank you Mimsie. That was the dishwashing liquid I used in Adelaide. It's been bugging me for days :-)
